Winter 2022 By-election: Call for Nominations

Executive Board and Committee service offers opportunities for staff to grow personally and professionally to develop leadership skills, gain unique experience, and make lasting connections with colleagues across campus.

The Executive Board is responsible for the overall governance of the MRSA and has oversight of the Association’s strategic objectives and daily operations. Help strengthen the Association into the future by considering the following roles:  

Vice-President: One (1) member, to June 30, 2023. Candidates for Vice-President(s) are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the Executive or have relevant experience. Director at Large: Two (2) members, to June 30, 2022. Candidates for Director-at-Large positions must be full-time employees or full-time continuing term employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation. The position description for Director at Large can be found here.

Please complete the Nomination Form to nominate yourself or a colleague.

Please complete the Nomination Campaign Statement to pursue a nomination for one of the above roles. Links to a campaign video, infographic, your website or LinkedIn profile etc. may be included in your nomination campaign statement. 

The call for nominations will close at 4 p.m. on January 23, 2022.

Candidates will be announced on January 24 and may canvass until January 28, 2022.

The election will be held online from 9 a.m. Monday, January 31 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 1, 2022.

Results will be shared on Wednesday, Feb 2, 2022.
