Greetings, fellow MRU colleagues! My name is Shahid Saleem and I have worked as an IT Project Manager with the ITS Program Management office since arriving on campus in 2022 I appreciate the chance this position gives me to improve MRU’s systems, people, and technology. Previously, I have led several large-scale technology implementations in the telecom sector, first in the United Arab Emirates and more recently in Canada, working with companies such as Telus, SHAW and Bell. My unique global perspective greatly shapes my approach to work and my interactions with people, a favourite part of any role that I fill.
This is my first time serving on the MRSA, where I am a director-at-large on the executive board. I look forward to working with the MRSA and the Mount Royal University community.
