I am the Executive Director for the MRSA, as of July 2024. I have been the Labour Relations Officer (LRO) for the MRSA since June 2021. In the expanded role of the Executive Director I provide operational management of the organization on a day to day basis. As the staff labour relations practitioner for the MRSA, I continue to provide labour relations representation, support and advice for all MRSA members. I also guide and support the negotiations process in collective bargaining.
I worked for a large health care union, previous to the MRSA, as an LRO, for 14 years, where I gained significant labour relations skills and knowledge. I have a BA in Law and Society and a certificate in NonProfit and Voluntary Sector Management. I am also currently pursuing a Master of Laws specializing in Labour and Employment Law.
I am honoured to provide support and guidance to the MRSA as an organization and to the members – both individually and collectively.
