MRSA members are invited to attend the MRSA General Meeting, in-person or via live stream, on May 28 from 10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The hybrid meeting will be conducted in J301: Lincoln Park Room for those who would like to attend in-person.
Alberta Federation of Labour President Gil McGowan and Secretary Treasurer Cori Longo will join the meeting at 11:30 a.m. to present on the AFL, the Common Front, and the worker movement.
The meeting documents have been attached for your review and are located in the MRSA Members folder on Google Drive.
A link to watch the live stream has been emailed to members. Access will only be available via mtroyal email accounts. The meeting will be recorded.
Members are invited to submit questions and comments for the Executive Board ahead of, and during the meeting.
Collective Agreement Article 7.6 states:
Time off with pay shall be granted up to a total of two and a half (2.5) hours to be used over two meetings to Association members for the purpose of attending the Annual General Meeting and the General Meeting provided these occur during the Employee’s normal working hours…
