The Government of Alberta has indicated that the conditions required to trigger the “Gain Sharing Formula” wage adjustment have not been met. As a result, the additional 0.5% wage adjustment for the Gain Sharing in our collective agreement retroactive to December 1, 2023 is not eligible for implementation, and the wage schedules remain as previously published as of December 1, 2023.
