1) EXECUTIVE BOARD
President | One member: two-year term 2026-2028
Candidates must be full-time, twelve (12) month employees and are required to have served a minimum of one (1) year on the MRSA Executive Board.
Vice-President | Two members: one, two-year term 2026-2028, and one, one-year term 2026-2027
Candidates must be full-time employees or full-time Regular Recurring employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation. Candidates are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the MRSA Executive Board or have relevant experience.
Treasurer | One member: two-year term 2026-2028
Candidates must be full-time employees or Full-time Regular Recurring Employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation. Candidates are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the MRSA Executive Board or have relevant experience. It is strongly recommended that the Treasurer has a working knowledge of basic accounting principles and budgeting in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
Director at Large | Five (5) members: four, two-year terms 2026-2028, and one, one-year term (2026-2027)
Candidates must be full-time employees or full-time continuing term employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation.
2) COMMITTEE
Education, Development and Training (EDT): Four (4) members; two-year terms 2026-2028

PROCEDURE FOR NOMINATIONS:
- Complete the Nomination Form (available April 9-22) if you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague;
- Confirmation of Nomination sent to nominees;
- Complete the Nomination Campaign Statement (available April 9-22) if you would like to accept a nomination.
TIMELINES:
- Nomination period: April 9-22 (closes at 4 p.m.);
- Candidates announced: April 27 and may campaign until May 8;
- Online Election: opens on May 11 at 9 a.m. and closes on May 12 at 4 p.m.;
- Results announced: May 13
