Help strengthen the Association by considering the following roles:
1) EXECUTIVE BOARD
President: One member; two-year term 2024-26
Candidates must be full-time, twelve (12) month employees and are required to have served a minimum of one (1) year on the MRSA Executive Board.
Vice-President: Two (2) members:
i) one (1) two-year term 2024-2026, and;
ii) one (1) one-year term 2024-2025
Candidates must be full-time employees or full-time continuing term employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation. Candidates are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the MRSA Executive Board or have relevant experience.
Treasurer: One member; two-year term 2024-2026
Candidates must be full-time employees or full-time continuing term employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation. Candidates are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the MRSA Executive Board or have relevant experience. It is strongly recommended that the Treasurer has a working knowledge of basic accounting principles and budgeting in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
Director at Large: Five (5) members:
i) four (4) two-year terms 2024-2026, and;
ii) one (1) one-year term 2024-2025

Education, Development and Training (EDT): Five (5) members:
i) four (4) two-year terms 2024-2026, and;
ii) one (1) one-year term 2024-2025

PROCEDURE FOR NOMINATIONS:
- Complete the Nomination Form if you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague;
- Confirmation of Nomination sent to nominees;
- Complete the Nomination Campaign Statement if you would like to accept a nomination.
TIMELINES:
- Nominations open: April 15 – 26 (closes at 4 p.m.);
- Candidates announced: April 30 and may campaign until May 13;
- Elections open: May 14 at 9 a.m. and close on May 15 at 4 p.m.;
- Results shared: May 16
