Executive Board and Committee service offers opportunities for staff to grow personally and professionally, to develop leadership skills, gain unique experience, and make lasting connections with colleagues across campus. If you are looking to broaden your MRU experience, the MRSA has a role for you!
Help strengthen the Association into the future by considering the following roles:
Vice-President: One member, two-year term 2021-23; one member, one-year term 2021-22. Candidates are recommended to have served a minimum of one (1) year as a representative on the Executive or have relevant experience, and must be full-time employees or full-time continuing term employees and commit to a twelve (12) month serving capacity, regardless of their employment hours designation.
Board of Governors Representative: One member, two-year term 2021-23.
Director at Large: Three members, two-year terms 2021-23; One member, two-year term 2021-23 (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion portfolio) Two members, one-year term 2021-22

EDT Committee: Three members, one-year term (2021-22); Two members, two-year terms (2021-23)

Please complete the Nomination Form (emailed to members) if you would like to nominate a colleague.
Please complete the Nomination Campaign Statement (emailed to members) if you would like to pursue a nomination for one of the above roles–your nomination by a colleague is required. If you would like to include a campaign video, infographic, your website or LinkedIn profile etc., links may be included in your nomination campaign statement.
The call for nominations will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 30.
Candidates will be announced on Monday, May 3 and may canvass until Friday, May 7.
The election will be held online from 9 a.m. Monday, May 10 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 11.
Results will be shared on Wednesday, May 12.
