Thank you for your patience as we work to resume processing EDT and Dependant/Spouse Scholarship applications following the MRU cybersecurity incident that occurred on June 17.

This incident affected the MRSA EDT and Dependant/Spouse Scholarship application database (ApplyEDT). Specifically, we have been unable to input or update application data since the incident. As a result, we needed to make several adjustments to our process to facilitate reimbursements. Please review the EDT Guide and FAQ for general information about EDT funding.

Please review the following instructions carefully for all EDT and Dependant/Spouse Scholarship applications.

Dependant/Spouse Scholarships will be processed as soon as possible.

• No action is required by members who have already submitted these applications.
• Please continue to use the Dependant/Spouse Scholarship Google form for Summer applications until the August 31, 2026 deadline.
• The normal process for Dependant/Spouse Scholarship applications will resume on September 14, 2026.

Winter 2026 EDT
(normal submission period January 1 – April 30)

• For EDT applications that have been paid out, no action is required.
• For EDT applications and completion documents submitted through ApplyEDT before June 17, 2026, no further action is needed.

For EDT applications with outstanding completion documents, you must submit these through ApplyEDT by September 30, 2026.

Spring 2026 EDT
(normal submission period May 1 – June 30)

• Applications submitted after the cybersecurity incident via the Spring 2026 EDT Google Form will be added to ApplyEDT on your behalf.
• You will receive a confirmation email for the application with a reference number by September 1, 2026.
• Once you receive your confirmation, please submit completion documents to ApplyEDT as soon as possible.

Completion documents for all Spring EDT applications (submitted through ApplyEDT or through the Spring EDT Google Form) must be submitted through ApplyEDT by December 31, 2026.

Summer 2026 EDT
(normal submission period July 2 – Aug 31)

• We will continue to use the Summer 2026 EDT Google Form for applications until August 31.
• Applications submitted via the Summer 2026 EDT Google Form will be added to ApplyEDT on your behalf.
• You will receive a confirmation email of the application submission with a reference number by September 11, 2026.
• Once you receive this confirmation, please submit completion documents through ApplyEDT as soon as possible.

Completion documents may be submitted through ApplyEDT until December 31, 2026.

Fall 2026 EDT and Dependant/Spouse Scholarship Applications
(normal submission period September 1 – December 31)

ApplyEDT will resume accepting applications for Fall 2026 beginning September 14.
